VDS continues to serve Irish members into 2021
We are pleased to be able to confirm to our Irish members, that the Central Bank of Ireland has granted the VDS authorisation for its Irish branch, effective from the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020. This means we can continue to provide Professional Indemnity Insurance cover and support for veterinary professionals and practices based in the Republic of Ireland. Director of Membership, Jo Stonehewer, said, “We are delighted that the Central Bank of Ireland has authorised the VDS to write insurance business in Ireland as this means we can continue to provide protection and peace of mind to the veterinary profession after Brexit. As a practising vet for nearly 30 years, I know how important and reassuring it is to have in place the kind of unique support that the VDS offers. It is business as usual for our Irish members, who can absolutely expect the same first-class service and expertise from our team that they have always enjoyed. All members should continue to direct enquiries to our Head Office in Knutsford.”
